While usually only the average roughness Ra is considered, there are many other parameters, such as bearing ratio, roughness depth, etc., which allow for a more meaningful description of the surface depending on the specific question.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5672b56 cmsmasters-block-default cmsmasters-sticky-default elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5672b56\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Hardness<\/h3><p>Hardness is the mechanical resistance that a material offers to the mechanical penetration of a harder indenter. Depending on the material, various hardness testing methods are distinguished.
